NEET is known to be one of the toughest exams in the country. Every year there are lakhs of students appear for the NEET exam to get admitted to one of the top medical colleges in the country. The competition is ever increasing and it is not easy to get on the list of toppers.

The NTA will be releasing the neet cut-off 2022. The neet 2022 cut-off can also be called the qualifying marks that are mandatory for the students to score to be able to get a chance to swat for the NEET counseling 2022 for AQI seats and State Quota seats.

NEET Cut-off Marks For GEN, SC, ST, OBC, PwD will be declared by the NTA to provide the student's seats in the 80,055 MBBS, 525 BVSc & AH, 26949 BDS, and other AYUSH courses that are offered by various government and private colleges of India. The cutoff released by NTA will be taken under consideration for the admission to MBBS-BDS seats under 15% AQI, deemed/central universities, AFMS, and ESIC institutes, and also for 85% seats under State quota.

The final NEET 2022 cut-off marks will be declared by the Medical Council of India (MCI) for AQI seats and State Medical Authorities for the state quota seats. The cut-off declared by the NTA only makes the students eligible for counseling.

How To Calculate NEET Percentile?

The students’ relative performance among the total number of test-takers represents the percentile. If the student wants to know the NEET Qualifying Percentile 2022, then he/she will have to consider the marks of the topper against one’s marks. . Other factors considered while determining the cut-off are the number of test-takers, seats available for admission, and the difficulty level of questions.

NEET Percentile = [(NEET Total no. for appearing - NEET Rank) /Total no. of candidates appearing] x 100

For Exp.)  A Secured rank of 95 and 5,00,000 total Appeared for Students in NEET, Than Use Formulas for Percentile.

 NEET Percentile = [5,00,000-95/5,00,000] x100 = 99.98

The students will get an idea in context with the NEET cut-off of 2022. The students’ should keep a check on the cut-off released by the MCC (Medical Counseling Committee) if he/she wants to participate in All India quota seats.
