The new pattern aims to improve analytical skill of the students than rote learning.

The number of objective questions is increased
- Internal assessment for Maths, Political Science, and Language
- According to CBSE’s new pattern for class 12 2020, 20% marks is dedicated to cbse internal assessment
- Theory paper will consist of 80% marks questions in the Board exam
Marking Scheme for CBSE 2020

25% weightage will be given to objective-type questions in theory paper which accounts for 20 marks.
