What is the KVPY Exam?

Kishore Vaigyanik Protsahan Yojana also known as KVPY is a national level exam conducted by the Department of Science and Technology, Government of India. KVPY Eligibility 2020

The candidate appearing for KVPY should be a citizen of India; the fellowship reward will be given to the Indian citizens only.  The bellow given eligibility should be considered for the SA/SX/SB Streams; else the candidature can be rejected.

For SA streams:

• Students studying in the 11^th standard having science subjects can apply under this category.
• The candidate should have studied science and math in class X.
• Candidate must have scored a minimum of 75% marks in 10^th. (For SC/ST/PWD candidates- 65% marks) For SX stream
• Students studying in class 12^th (PCMB) can apply under this category.
• The student should have studied science and math in the 10^th and have scored a minimum of 75% (65% for SC/ST/PWD candidates).
• Candidate should have scored a minimum of 65% in science(50% for SC/ST/PWD Candidates) in class 12th and should be willing to pursue basic science after 10+2. For SB stream
• UG students studying PCMB subjects in context with B.Sc/MS/B.Stat./Integrated M.SC. can apply under this category.
• A minimum of 60% is required in the 12^th class (50% for SC/ST/PwD candidates)
• In the first year of the graduation exam, the student should have scored a minimum of 60% marks (50% for SC/ST/PWD candidates).

What is the procedure for filling KVPY 2020 Application Forms?

Candidates can get the application form for KVPY 2020 on the official website. Follow the below-given steps to fill the form. 

Kvpy registration 2020: if you are willing to fill the form then you need to have a valid email id and mobile number. The confirmation regarding the registration of your application is given on your registered email id or mobile number. Also, any other information in context with the examination or the application form will is shared in the way same way.

Filling Important Details: after successful registration, the candidate will have to re-login to submit the personal and academic details. Then you have to upload a scanned passport-sized photo and signature in JPEG/JPG format will also.
