National Science Olympiad Exam Detail
Every year various Olympiad exams are conducted in order to test the skills of students in context with different subjects. The apex body conducting different Olympiads is Science Olympiad Foundation (SOF). One of the famous Olympiads conducted by the SOF is the National Science Olympiad. The exam is conducted annually. For national science Olympiad 2020, the dates given by SOF are November 3, 10, and 26, 2020. The main objective of the SOF behind conducting the NSO is to cultivate the reasoning and the scientific knowledge of the students by giving scholarships. The exam is conducted for the students studying in class 1 to 12.
The SOF NSO is divided into two levels. The first level targets the students studying in class 1 to 12. The students who qualify level 1 (From class 3 to 12) are permitted to appear for level 2.
NSO Important Exam dates 2020
The important dates related to the SOF NSO 2020 are given below.
- NSO 2020 exam date for stage 1 is 03-Nov-2020, 10-Nov-2020, and 26-Nov-2020.
- The answer key for sets A, B, and C will release in December 2020.
- NSO cutoff 2020 will be declared in December 2020.
- Theresult for stage one can be announced either in December or in January.
- The NSO admit card for stage 2 will be released in January 2021.
- The exam dates for stage 2 are 10-Jan-2021 or 17-Jan-2021
- The NSO stage 2 results will be declared in March 2021

NSO Eligibility Criteria 2020
Any student of class 1 to 12 can appear for SOF NSO for the stage 1 exam. No minimum marks are required.
The second level exam is conducted for the students of class 3 to 12.

How to Apply NSO 2020?
The schoolsthat have done their registration with the SOF are given the prospectus. The prospectus contains the forms that are to be returned by the school to the organizing body once it is filled-in with proper details. The application fee should also be submitted along with the prospectus before the last day of the exam. A minimum of 10 students should be registered from each school for the exam
NSO Result 2020
The SOF declares the NSO result within 8 weeks of examination. The results are also listed on the official website; the student can check the result with the help of roll number.

NSO 2020 application Form
The prospectus that is sent to the school includes the application forms. The students who wish to enroll themselves can fill the form and the filled-in forms are to be submitted by the school authority before the last date. National Science Olympiad (NSO) Syllabus
The syllabus of the NSO Olympiad is related to the CBSE, ICSE and various other boards. In case you are eligible for the second stage then too your syllabus will be of the previous class (for eg. If you appeared for stage 1 in class 11 and at the time of stage 2 you are in class 12 then too your syllabus will be of class 11 for the exam) Understand the syllabus properly and practice hard to get good marks.
