IIT-Delhi makes a big announcement for JEE- Advanced 2020
Indian Institute of Technology-Delhi will conduct the JEE-Advanced exam 2020 on 17 May 2020 for admission to 23 IITs across the nation. The exam will be conducted for the very first time in the US.
Joint Entrance Exam (JEE) is conducted in 5 international centers. Addis Ababa (Ethiopia), Colombo (Sri Lanka), Dhaka (Bangladesh), Dubai (UAE), Kathmandu (Nepal) and Singapore were among foreign centers where the JEE (Advanced) 2019 exam was held. With the new addition planned at San Francisco, the JEE exam will have coverage over 6 countries worldwide. JEE-Advanced 2020 will be held in 2 shifts.
- Paper 1 will be at 9.00 a.m.- 12 noon (IST) shift
- Paper 2 will be conducted in 2.30- 5.30 p.m. (IST)
In 2019, IIT Roorkee organized JEE (Advanced) in which a total number of 161,319 candidates had appeared in both papers 1 and 2. The examination was held across India and international test centers. Total candidates who were successful were 38,705 and out of these 5,356 were females.
