What is the WBJEE exam?

The West Bengal Joint Entrance Examinations Board conducts the West Bengal Joint Entrance Examination (WBJEE). It is a state-level examination. The exam is conducted for the students who want to get admitted in west Bengal's universities, government colleges, and self-financing engineering & technical institutes. Every year several students appear for the WBJEE paper. So here we have some relevant information for you in context with the WBJEE exam 2023.

WBJEE Eligibility Criteria 2023

The WBJEEB has set forwards certain criteria that the student is mandatory to comply in order to seat for the paper. The criteria may change depending on different courses at the institute level.

• The candidate must be a citizen of India 

• Candidates who wish to apply for the WBJEE entrance test must be 17 years of age as on December 31, 2023, or should have been born on or before December 31, 2004.

• There is no upper age limit

• However, for Marine Engineering, the upper age limit is 25 years as on December 31, 2023.

WBJEE 2023 Exam Important Dates

After WBJEE Eligibility Criteria Candidate must need to go through the WBJEE 2023 Exam Important detail which helps in Exam Preparation.

• The Exam will be conducted on 30 April 2023.

• The application correction window will be open from last week of january 2023.

• The WBJEE admit card 2023 will be released on 2nd week of April 2023.

• The WBJEE 2023 exam will be conducted on 30th April 2023.

• The answer key release date is 1st week of May 2023.

• The WBJEE 2023 result will be declared in the 4th week of May 2021. Once the result will be declared on 4th week of May 2023.

• WBJEE 2023 counselling registrations and choice filling will begin from the Last week of May 2023.

WBJEE Application Form 2023

The application form will be released on 3rd week of December 2022. and the online form filling process will continue till the 3rd week of January 2023. The student can fill the form in online mode. In case of any correction in the application form, the candidate can take the help of the application correction window. 

Steps to Apply for WBJEE 2023 Application form -

• Step 1: Visit Official Website of WBJEE and click on "Registration for WBJEE 2023".

• Step 2: Fill the Personal Details Like Name, Birthdate, Email id, Mobile No. & Click on Submit Button. after you will get your registration Id and passwords on your Email-id or Mobile No.

• Step 3: Login Again and Fill the Application Form 2023 of WBJEE and Enter all details. (home district, Pwd Status, religion & more)

• Step 4: Upload Passport Size Photo and Signature.

• Step 5: After uploading documents, Students have to pay WBJEE Application Fees by using the Netbanking, Debit, Credit card.

How to Download the WBJEE admit card 2023?

The WBJEE admit card can be downloaded from the official website of WBJEEB. On the notice section, you will find the option 'Download Admit Card for WBJEE 2023' you have to click on it and your admit card will appear on the screen.

WBJEE Syllabus 2023

After WBJEE Eligibility Criteria it’s important to know about syllabus. The West Bengal joint entrance examination board has released both the syllabus as well as the official brochure. The syllabus includes different units under which various topics are allotted. The WBJEE paper has three sections namely, physics, chemistry, and mathematics. The WBJEEB has given the syllabus for these three subjects. The students are suggested to go through the entire course descriptively and cover all the units and topics.
